This command displays information about the log event configuration.

Syntax   log-event-show [program program-string] [pid pid-number] [name name-string] [code code-number] [event-type system|port|tcp|stp|igmp|lldp|vdp|ecp|evb|ptp|openflow|        storage|tacacs|openstack|mld|mroute|vport] [vnet vnet-name] [remote_switch node name] [user user-name] [client-pid client-pid-number] [client-addr ip-address][port port-number][vlan vlan-id] [vxlan vxlan-name] [start-time date/time: yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss] [end-time date/time: yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss][duration duration: #d#h#m#s] [count number] starting-point starting-point-number length length-number reverse|no-reverse

Specify between 0 and 2 of the following options:

start-time date/time: yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss

Displays the start time for the log file.

end-time date/time: yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss

Displays the end time for the log file.

duration duration: #d#h#m#s

Displays the duration of the log file.

Specify any of the following options:

program program-string

Specifies the program type.

pid pid-number

Specifies the program indentifiier.

name name-string

Specifies the program name.

code code-number

Specifies the code number.

event-type system|port|tcp|

Specifies the type of event.

vnet vnet-name

Specifies the associated VNET.

remote_switch node name

Specifies the name of the remote switch.

user user-name

Specifies the username.

client-pid client-pid-number

Specifies the client program identifier.

client-addr ip-address

Specifies the client IP address.

port port-number

Specifies the port number.

vlan vlan-id

Specifies the VLAN identifier.

vxlan vxlan-name

Specifies the VXLAN identifier.

count number

Displays the count in a range from 1 to 50000.

starting-point starting-point-number

Specifies the starting point of the log audit.

length length-number

Specifies the length of the log audit.


Specifies if the log is reverse or not reverse.

Formatting Options

format fields-to-display

Display output using a specific parameter. Use all to display all possible output.

parsable-delim character

Display output formatted for machine parsing using a specified delimiter.


Display output in ascending order.


Display output in descending order.

show dups

Display duplicate entries in the output.

layout vertical|horizontal

Format the output in a vertical or horizontal layout.

show-interval seconds-interval

Repeat the show command at a specified interval.


Display column headers or not.

limit-output number

Limit the display output to a specific number of entries.


Display the number of entries in the output. This is useful with vRouter show commands.


Display full values in the output instead of scaled approximate values.


Display integer values instead of mapped values


Aggregate output by specific parameters. If sum-by fields are specified, records that have the same value in sum-by fields are combined and displayed as one aggregate record. NOTE: This option is only available for show commands that collect statistics such as connection-stats-show.
