Virtual Netvisor or vNV is a Virtual Machine running Netvisor OS to provide vNET capabilities to an ONVL fabric, even on platforms without the capacity to support vNETs on it.

vNV is supported only on VMware ESXi Hypervisors and runs like any other virtual machine on the hypervisor.

Syntax   nvm-create

conn-name nvm-vcenter-connection conn-name

Specify a name for the connection.

vm-name vm-name-string

Specify the name of the Virtual Machine (VM).

host host-string

Specify the host name.

mgmt-network mgmt-network-string

Specify the management network.

data-network data-network-string

Specify the data network.

datastore datastore-string

Specify the datastore.


Specify if you want to join the current fabric on the switch.

Defaults   None.

Usage   Use this command to create a vNV.

Examples  To display create a vNV, use the following syntax:
