openvswitch-show

Open vSwitch is a multilayer virtual switch licensed by Apache 2.0. It is designed to enable massive network automation through programmable extensions. This command displays an Open vSwitch instance on the switch.

Syntax   openvswitch-show name name-string type vnet-mgr|vrouter|vlb|dhcp|dns|netzone|ofpd|orphaned|netvm|nat| openstack|netvmm|ovs scope local|fabric vnet vnet-name is-global true|false location fabric-node name cert-name cert-name-string cert-location none|global|container db-conn-type unix-socket|tcp|punix-socket-listen|tcp-listen|ssl|default db-ip ip-address db-port db-port-number db-socket db-socket-string tunnel-ip ip-address global-vtep|local-vtep

name name-string

Specify a name for the Open vSwitch instance.

Specify any of the following options:

type vnet-mgr|vrouter|vlb|dhcp|dns|netzone|ofpd|orphaned|netvm|nat| openstack|netvmm|ovs

Specify the type of VNET.

scope local|fabric

Specify the scope for Open vSwitch.

vnet vnet-name

Specify the name of the VNET for Open vSwitch.

is-global true|false

Specify if service is global.

location fabric-node name

Specify the location of the Open vSwitch instance.

cert-name cert-name-string

Specify the certificate name for SSL connections.

ca-cert-name ca-cert-name-string

Specify the CA Certificate name for SSL connections.

cert-location none|global|container

Specify the Certificate location - global or within container.

db-conn-type unix-socket|tcp|punix-socket-listen|tcp-listen|ssl|default

Specify the type of database connection.

db-ip ip-address

Specify the IP address of the database.

db-port db-port-number

Specify the port number to listen on for the database.

db-socket db-socket-string

Specify the socket for the database.

mode standalone|master|slave

 

tunnel-ip ip-address

Specify the IP address for the tunnel.

global-vtep|local-vtep

Specify the hardware VTEP associated with Open vSwitch.

bfd|no-bfd

Specify if you want to enable BFD for OVSDB created tunnels.

Formatting Options

format fields-to-display

Display output using a specific parameter. Use all to display all possible output.

parsable-delim character

Display output formatted for machine parsing using a specified delimiter.

sort-asc

Display output in ascending order.

sort-desc

Display output in descending order.

show dups

Display duplicate entries in the output.

layout vertical|horizontal

Format the output in a vertical or horizontal layout.

show-interval seconds-interval

Repeat the show command at a specified interval.

show-headers|
no-show-headers

Display column headers or not.

limit-output number

Limit the display output to a specific number of entries.

count-output

Display the number of entries in the output. This is useful with vRouter show commands.

unscaled

Display full values in the output instead of scaled approximate values.

raw-int-values

Display integer values instead of mapped values

sum-by

Aggregate output by specific parameters. If sum-by fields are specified, records that have the same value in sum-by fields are combined and displayed as one aggregate record. NOTE: This option is only available for show commands that collect statistics such as connection-stats-show.
