software-modify

This command is used to modify software update settings.

Syntax   software-modify [track software-track-name [use-proxy proxy-host proxy-host-string proxy-port proxy-port-number]|no-use-proxy reboot-group software-reboot-group name 

Specify one or more of the following options:

track software-track-name

Specify the software track name.

use-proxy | no-use-proxy

Specify a proxy server or no proxy server.

proxy-host proxy-host-string

If you want to use a proxy server, configure the proxy host.

proxy-port proxy-port-number

Specify the port to use on the proxy server.

reboot-group software-reboot-group name

Specify the reboot group membership for this switch. The option, none, clears the membership.

Usage   A switch can contact an upgrade server, either directly or through a proxy, to configure another version of the OS. This command modifies the configuration of the OS upgrade process of the local switch.

Examples  To enable the local switch to phone home, use the following command:

CLI network-admin@switch > software-modify phone-home enable
