This command is used to display the list of tunnels on the switch.

Syntax   tunnel-show


Specifies the ID assigned to the tunnel.

scope local

Specifies the scope for the tunnel. Only local scopes are supported.

name name-string

Specifies the name of the tunnel.

type ip-in-ip|vxlan|nvgre

Specifies the type of tunnel.

vnet vnet-name

Specify the name of the VNET.

vrouter-name vrouter-name

Specify the name of the vRouter service.

peer-vrouter-name vrouter- name

Specify the name of the vRouter service on the cluster peer.

local-ip ip-address

Specifies the local IP address.

remote-ip ip-address

Specifies the remote IP address.

next-hop ip-address

Specifies the next hop IP address.

next-hop mac-address

Specifies the next hop MAC address.

next-hop-vlan vlan-id

Specifies the next hop VLAN ID.

remote-switch fabric-node-name 

Specifies the remote switch for the tunnel.

active yes|no

Specifies if the tunnel is active or not.

state init|ok|error

Specifies the tunnel state.

error error-string 

Specifies any tunnel errors.

route-info route-info-string

Specifies the route information for a tunnel.

ecmp-group ecmp-group-number

Specifies the ECMP group number.


Specify BFD for the tunnel.

Formatting Options

format fields-to-display

Display output using a specific parameter. Use all to display all possible output.

parsable-delim character

Display output formatted for machine parsing using a specified delimiter.


Display output in ascending order.


Display output in descending order.

show dups

Display duplicate entries in the output.

layout vertical|horizontal

Format the output in a vertical or horizontal layout.

show-interval seconds-interval

Repeat the show command at a specified interval.


Display column headers or not.

limit-output number

Limit the display output to a specific number of entries.


Display the number of entries in the output. This is useful with vRouter show commands.


Display full values in the output instead of scaled approximate values.


Display integer values instead of mapped values


Aggregate output by specific parameters. If sum-by fields are specified, records that have the same value in sum-by fields are combined and displayed as one aggregate record. NOTE: This option is only available for show commands that collect statistics such as connection-stats-show.

Usage   Tunnels are used to encapsulate unsupported protocols on a network. Use this command to display a list of tunnels on a fabric.

Examples  To display a list of all tunnels on a switch, use the following command:
