switch-vnic-show

This command is used to display information about a virtual Network Interface Card (vNIC) on the switch.

Syntax   switch-vnic-show

Defaults   ]

nic nic-string

Specify the vNIC to modify.

ip ip-address

Specifies the IP address of the vNIC.

netmask netmask

Specifies the netmask.

assignment [none|dgcp|
dhcpv6]

Specifies the method of IP address assignment.

linklocal ip-address

Specify the IPv6 link local IP address.

vnet vnet name 

Specify the VNET name.

l2-net l2-net-name 

Specify the name of the Layer network.

vlan vlan-id

Specify the VLAN assigned to the vNIC.

mac mac-address

Specifies the interface MAC Address.

vlan vlan-id

Specifies the VLAN assigned to the vNIC.

vlan-type public|private

Optionally, specify the VLAN type assigned to the vNIC.

if [mgmt|data|span]

Specifies the type of interface for the vNIC.

alias-on alias-on-string

Specifies an alias if desired.

vm-nic-type [e1000|virtio]

Specifies the type of vNIC.

exclusive|no-exclusive

Specifies if the vNIC is exclusive to a zone. Adding this parameter may improve performance on the vNIC.

nic-enable|nic-disable

Specifies if the vNIC is enabled or disabled.

nic-state down|up

Specifies the vNIC state as up or down.

secondary-macs secondary-macs-string

Specifies a secondary MAC address for the interface.

sriov-vf|no-sriov-vf

Specify if the NIC is an SRIOV (single root input/output virtualizatio) interface.

mirror-traffic true|false

Specify if you want to mirror traffic to the VNIC.

if-nat-realm internal|external

Specify a NAT interface realm.

priority-tag|
no-priority-tag

Specify to add a VLAN 0 priority tag on forwarded traffic.

Formatting Options

format fields-to-display

Display output using a specific parameter. Use all to display all possible output.

parsable-delim character

Display output formatted for machine parsing using a specified delimiter.

sort-asc

Display output in ascending order.

sort-desc

Display output in descending order.

show dups

Display duplicate entries in the output.

layout vertical|horizontal

Format the output in a vertical or horizontal layout.

show-interval seconds-interval

Repeat the show command at a specified interval.

show-headers|
no-show-headers

Display column headers or not.

limit-output number

Limit the display output to a specific number of entries.

count-output

Display the number of entries in the output. This is useful with vRouter show commands.

unscaled

Display full values in the output instead of scaled approximate values.

raw-int-values

Display integer values instead of mapped values

sum-by

Aggregate output by specific parameters. If sum-by fields are specified, records that have the same value in sum-by fields are combined and displayed as one aggregate record. NOTE: This option is only available for show commands that collect statistics such as connection-stats-show.

Usage   Use this command to display information about vNICs on the switch.
