Configuring a VXLAN with Netvisor ONE
The first scenario requires no additional configuration. The second scenario requires the following steps, in order:
1. Create a hardware vRouter.
2. Add interfaces to the vRouter, one per tunnel. The tunnel endpoint IP address must be routable.
3. Create one or more tunnels.
4. Create the VXLAN with the VNI, and add the tunnels created in the previous steps.
To create a VXLAN with Id 70, with scope cluster, and vxlan number between zero (0) and 16777215, use the following syntax:
CLI network-admin@switch > vlan-create id 70 scope cluster vxlan 70000
To delete a VXLAN, use the vlan-delete command.
To add ports to the VXLAN, use the vlan-port-add command, for example:
CLI network-admin@switch > vlan-port-add vlan-id 70 ports <port numbers>
Enter the list of ports separated by comma or a range of ports as displayed in the show output:
To display information about VXLANs, use the vlan-show command, for example:
CLI network-admin@switch > vlan-show id 70
