Layer 2 Configuration – STP States

STP States

Selecting Overview → Manage → Layer 2 → STP States displays the STP States dashboard with a list of any existing STP States settings.

Select the desired Fabric from the left side navigation bar and the dashboard updates showing all STP States from all switches within the Fabric.

The dashboard displays a list of existing STP States entries by Switch. Additional parameters include: vlan, block, bridge-id, bridge-priority, root-id and root-priority.

You sort the list of entries in the dashboard using the up / down arrows above each of the columns to sort the information as needed.


Manage STP States Fabric Dashboard


Selecting an individual Switch from the fabric updates the dashboard with only the STP States settings for that switch.


The dashboard displays a list of existing STP States entries. Parameters include: vlan, block, bridge-id, bridge-priority, root-id, and root-priority.


You sort the list of entries in the dashboard using the up / down arrows above each of the columns to sort the information as needed.

To obtain detailed information about a STP State click on an entry in the dashboard.

A Details pane opens displaying the configuration information about the STP State.

Click X to close the viewing pane.

Scroll through the information in the details pane and click X to return to the full dashboard.
