Selecting Analytics → Switch Analytics → Traffic → Tunnel Stats displays the Tunnel Stats dashboard. The Tunnel Stats tab is highlighted.

A Tunnel is a virtual connection between two fabric end points. The Tunnel Stats dashboard displays both virtual link extension (VLE) and VXLAN tunnels.


The Tunnel Stats dashboard widgets include:


  • Port - Top Ports Input Traffic (Octets) – pie chart of port input traffic by port and switch name.
  • Port - Top Ports Output Traffic (Octets)  pie chart of port output traffic by port and switch name.
  • Port - Top Ports Input Problems  bar chart count of input problems by count and switch name.
  • Port - Top Ports Output Problems  bar chart count of output problems by count and switch name.
  • Tunnel - Top Input Traffic (Octets)  – pie chart of tunnel input traffic by tunnel name.
  • Tunnel - Top Output Traffic (Octets) – pie chart of tunnel output traffic by tunnel name.
  • Tunnel - Top Input Problems   bar chart count of input problems by count and tunnel name.
  • Tunnel - Top Output Problems  bar chart count of output problems by count and tunnel name.
  • Port - Stats - Details  specific information or Tunnel parameters.

Tunnel Stats Search


A Tunnel Stats Search function provides a useful method of searching for Tunnel related information using an auto-populate feature based on previous searches.


You begin by entering relevant search criteria.


The Tunnel related information displayed in the graphical interface is updated with data from the search criteria and the filter information is highlighted in the filter bar.


Multiple searches populate the filter bar.


Tunnel Stats Filtering


Rolling over a column in the Tunnel - Stats - Details section reveals a icon used to Add or Remove filters from the search criteria.


Clicking on the icon in the Tunnel - Stats - Details section revealsTabular and JSON data.


Filtering functions work in a similar manner as described under the Common Features - Search & Filtering section.

Export Data


Click on Export to export data to a CSV file.
