ipfix-collector-create

IPFIX (Internet Protocol Flow Information Export) is an IETF protocol created by the need for a common, universal standard of export for Internet Protocol flow information from routers, probes and other devices that are used by mediation systems, accounting/billing systems and network management systems to facilitate services such as measurement, accounting and billing. The IPFIX standard defines how IP flow information is to be formatted and transferred from an exporter to a collector.

Syntax   ipfix-collector-create

name name-string

Name of the IPFIX collector

host host-string

IP address of the IPFIX collector

port port-number

Listening port of the IPFIX collector - the default port is 9090.

transport-protocol tcp|udp

Transport protocol to collect - the default is TCP.

Defaults   None

Access   CLI

History

Version 2.4.0

Command introduced.

Version 2.6.2

The parameter, dscp, deprecated.

Version 5.1.1

The options, |icmp|igmp|ip, deprecated from the transport-protocol parameter.

Usage   Use this command to create an IPFIX collector on a host.

Examples  To create IPFIX collector, ipfix-host1, on host, 10.15.21.3, port 9090, protocol udp, use the following command:

CLI network-admin@switch > ipfix-collector-create name ipfix-host1 host 10.15.21.3 port 9090 transport-protocol udp
