igmp-snooping-modify

This command enables or disables Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping on the network.

Informational Note:  Netvisor does not support IGMPv1. If you use IGMPv1, you must disable IGMP snooping on the Pluribus Networks switch


Syntax   igmp-snooping-modify

Specify one or more of the following options:

scope local|fabric

Specify if the scope is local or fabric.

enable|disable

Specify if IGMP snooping is enabled or disabled.

vxlan|no-vxlan

Specify to enable or disable IGMP snooping on VXLANs.

enable-vlans vlan-list

Specify a list of VLANs to enable for IGMP.

snoop-linklocal-vlans vlan-list

Specify if you allow snooping of link-local groups(224.0.0.0/24) on these VLANs.

no-snoop-linklocal-vlans vlan-list

 

Specify if you do not allow snooping of link-local groups(224.0.0.0/24) on these VLANs.

igmpv3-vlans vlan-list

Specify IGMP Version 3 VLAN list for sending queries.

igmpv2-vlans vlan-list

Specify IGMP Version 2 VLAN list for sending queries.

query-interval seconds

Specify the interval between queries in seconds.

query-max-response-time seconds

Specify the maximum response time for a query.

Usage   IGMP snooping allows the switch to listen in on IGMP traffic between hosts and routers, thus maintaining a map of the links that need IP multicast streams. Use this command to modify IGMP snooping on the switch.

Examples  To enable IGMP snooping, use the following command:
