snmp-user-modify

SNMPv3 creates users as access control mechanisms, and creating users is more complex but also more secure, and more flexible. You can also require that users must authenticate, and use encryption.

Syntax   snmp-user-modify

user-name name-string

Specify the user name.

auth-password auth-password-string

Specify the authentication password.

auth|no-auth

Specify if authentication is required or not.

auth-hash md5|sha

Specify the type of authentication hashing algorithm.

priv-password priv-password-string

Specify the password for privileges mode.

priv|no-priv

Specifies if privileges are assigned or not.

Usage   Use this command to modify parameters configured for SNMPv3 users.
