Services – QOS CPU Ext Queue Settings
There are features and functions used in Arista NetVisor UNUM and Insight Analytics that are common throughout the user interface (UI). Please refer to the Common Functions section for more information on the use of these functions and features.
CPU Ext Queue Settings
NetVisor OS automatically weights Class of Server (CoS) queues with minimum bandwidth guarantees. When you configure minimum bandwidth on a port queue using CoS, the remaining bandwidth gets assigned to the rest of the queues in the same ratio as the minimum bandwidth.
Selecting Manager → Services → CPU Ext Queue Settings displays the CPU Ext Queue Settings dashboard with a list of any existing CPU Ext Queue settings.
Select the applicable Fabric from the left-hand navigation bar and the dashboard updates showing all CPU Ext Queue Settings entries from all switches within the Fabric.
Note: If no entries exist a "No Data Exists" message is displayed. You must first configure an entry on a switch. Prerequisite settings and configuration may be required.
The dashboard displays a list of existing CPU Ext Queue Settings entries by Fabric name.
Additional parameters include: Switch, Hog Checker Interval, Hog Hosts Per Class Scale, Hog Max Violators Per Port, Hog Warning Threshold, and Hog Violator Timeout.

Select the applicable switch from the fabric and the dashboard updates automatically with CPU Ext Queue Settings settings.
The dashboard displays a list of existing CPU Ext Queue Settings entries by Hog checker interval.
Additional parameters include: Hog Checker Interval, Hog Hosts Per Class Scale, Hog Max Violators Per Port, Hog Warning Threshold, and Hog Violator Timeout.

To modify a CPU Ext Queue Settings entry click on Edit by selecting the Cog icon to make changes to parameters which include:
•Hog Checker Interval – Hog checking interval.
•Hog Hosts Per Class Scale – Scale number of active hosts tracked per cpu class.
•Hog Max Violators Per Port – Maximum number of Hog violators per port.
•Hog Warning Threshold – Number of warnings at which host becomes Hog violator.
•Hog Violator Timeout – Timeout to restore Hog violator to normal queue after being idle.

Click Save to continue or Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving any changes.
