There are two scenarios when using sFlow. The first is using UNUM as a sFlow collector from a non-Pluribus Networks device, i.e. a third-party device.

The second scenario is using UNUM as a sFlow collector from a Pluribus Networks device.

In the case where UNUM is used as a collector from a third-party device you must configure that device to send the data to the UNUM instance using the UNUM IP address and port number 2055.

In the case where UNUM is used with a Pluribus Networks device you need to create an sFlow Agent as described in this document and create a sFlow Collector to point to the UNUM instance using the UNUM IP address and port number 2055.

In either case the first time that you enable the sFlow Collector, you must add a valid sFlow Collector and Exporter license.

Use the following steps to add the license and enable sFlow.

    1. After configuring sFlow on the switch, log into UNUM and click Manage → Manage Collector.
    2. Locate the sFlow Collector and disable if the sFlow Collector if it is running.
    3. Use Edit by selecting theCog   icon for the applicable sFlow Collector and add the sFlow Collector license key and Exporter license key.
    4. Click Update to continue.
