Layer 3 Configuration – OSPF Neighbors

OSPF Neighbors

Selecting Manager → Layer 3 → OSPF Neighbors displays the OSPF Neighbors dashboard with a list of any existing OSPF Neighbor settings.

UNUM provides access to specific feature help documentation via the Help Button  icon.


Select the desired Fabric from the left side navigation bar and the dashboard updates showing all OSPF Neighbor entries from all switches within the Fabric.


Note: If no entries exist a "No Data Exists" message is displayed. You must first configure an entry on a switch. Prerequisite settings and configuration may be required.



The dashboard displays a list of existing OSPF Neighbors entries by Switch and selected vRouter. Additional parameters include: neighbor, pri, State, dead-time, address and interface.


You sort the list of entries in the dashboard using the up / down  arrows above each of the columns to sort the information as needed.

Select the desired switch from the fabric and the dashboard updates automatically with OSPF Neighbor settings.


The dashboard displays a list of existing OSPF Neighbors entries by neighbor network IP address and selected vRouter. Additional parameters include: pri, State, dead-time, address and interface.

You sort the list of entries in the dashboard using the up / down  arrows above each of the columns to sort the information as needed.

Select the desired vRouter from the Select vRouter drop down list.

You select the ---ALL--- parameter to display all vRouters. This option exists for both Fabric and individual switches.

The dashboard updates displaying the configuration of the selected vRouter.


To obtain detailed information about a OSPF Neighbors click an entry in the dashboard.


A Details pane opens displaying the configuration information of the OSPF neighbor.


Scroll through the list, as needed, and click X to return to the dashboard.
