vrouter-pim-config-modify

This command is used to modify Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) configurations.

Syntax   vrouter-pim-config-modify

vrouter-name name-string

Specify the name of the vRouter.

query-interval seconds

Specify the query interval in seconds. The range is 1 to 300 seconds.

hello-interval seconds

Specify the hello interval in seconds. The range is 1 to 300 seconds.

querier-timeout seconds

Specify the IGMP querier timeout in seconds. The range is 10 to 900 seconds.

Usage   Use this command to modify a PIM configuration.

Examples  To modify the hello interval for a PIM configuration,  use the following syntax:

CLI network-admin@switch > vrouter-pim-config-modify vrouter-name vr1 hello-interval 100 seconds

vrouter-pim-interface-show

This command is used to display interfaces configured for PIM Sparse mode.

Syntax   vrouter-pim-interface-show

vrouter-name name-string

Displays the vRouter name.

name name-string

Displays the physical name of the virtual interface.

local-address ip-address

Displays the local IP address.

index index-number

Displays the index of the virtual interface.

if-state down|disabled|leaf|dr|no-nbrs|pim|vrrp-primary|suspended

Displays the state of the virtual interface. The state can be

down, disabled, leaf, designated routers(dr), no-nbrs (no pim-multcast routers for this interface), or PIM-neighbor is a multicast router.

vlan-id vlan-id

Displays the VLAN ID.

Usage   This command is used to display PIM Sparse mode interfaces on a vRouter.

Examples  To display PIM interfaces, use the following syntax:

vrouter-pim-join-show

This command displays multicast group membership.

Syntax   vrouter-pim-join-show

vrouter-name name-string

Displays the vRouter name.

source ip-address

Displays the source IP address.

upstream ip-address

Displays the upstream IP address.

group ip-address

Displays the group IP address.

incoming-if incoming-if-string

Displays the incoming interface name.

incoming incoming-number

Displays the incoming interface number.

outgoing-ifs outgoing-ifs-string

Displays the outgoing interface name.

Displays the multicast route state.

pruned-ifs pruned-ifs-string

Displays a list of the pruned interfaces.
